P16 End of Term Dates

Dear Parents/carers,

As we fast approach the end of what has been a busy and productive term, we have been hugely impressed with our students’ enthusiasm and willingness to throw themselves at new challenges.

Academy Council

We have received one application for Academy Council and are delighted to welcome Joanne Hemmings to the role.

Joanne said:

“I would like to be considered for the role of parent representative because I already have a daughter in Post 16. I can already see the high standards expected of the students and the endless opportunities that these have with the wonderful learning and teaching environment that they are so lucky to have.
I can bring to the team: fresh ideas, feedback, a strong personality, leadership skills and a willingness to help and support Post 16!”

If you would like to contact Joanne to share any feedback or suggestions, please email [email protected] and we will forward your email on to her.

End of Term Dates

We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of the arrangements for the end of term. On Wednesday 20th October, we will be ending lessons at 3:30 to enable staff to prepare for our Open Evening. This will also be the last day of term for students as the Thursday and Friday will be dedicated to staff training.

We will look forward to welcoming our students back on site on the 1st of November.

This will also be the week for GCSE resit exams and mock A-Level exams. Your son/daughter will receive their individual timetable for this directly.
