Student Voice

Student Voice is at the heart of steering and supporting the growth and development of CLF Post 16.  This insight and personal reflection shapes the Post 16 ethos and strategy.  Our key values of student self-agency and self-advocacy are strengthened through our student voice systems. Much of the student voice that we collect is student-led and driven by our student representatives.

Student representatives are elected from each of our houses – Parks, Mandela and Malala.  These students attend regular Student Council meetings and represent the views of the student community in addition to working on projects such as charity fund-raising, student events and academy recruitment activities.

Two members of this Student Council represent student voice at the Post 16 Academy Council, to ensure that students are represented at all levels of academy decision-making.
