URGENT: Post 16 Closure on 18/02
Dear parents and carers
In light of the upgraded weather warning issued today by the Met Office regarding the potential impact of Storm Eunice, we have taken the decision to close CLF Post 16 tomorrow, Friday February 18.
We understand this may be challenging for our families and we apologise for the late notice but the safety of our students and staff is our priority.
The Met Office has today upgraded its weather warning to Red for the South West, warning there is a ‘danger to life’, with wind forecast up to 100mph and people are advised to stay indoors.
CLF Post 16 will be closed to all staff and pupils on Friday, February 18.
All students who were due to have a lesson tomorrow will be expected to log in to remote learning via a live lesson on Teams. Staff will share this link with students directly. In the event that a live lesson is not possible, work will be sent to their CLF email or Teams class folder. Students are encouraged to complete this work during the set lesson time.
All additional support meetings (Tutor, Coach and Careers meetings) will take place on line via Teams.
Thank you for your support and understanding. Please stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you all back to CLF Post 16 after half term.
Warm wishes,
The Post 16 team
