During their visit, students participated in activities designed to deepen their understanding of key environmental concepts. These included studying the role of trees in mitigating climate change, assessing the Eden Project’s impact as a rural regeneration initiative, and exploring the rainforest’s crucial role in the water and carbon cycles.

Alison Ashman, Vice Principal of CLF Post 16, said: “The fieldwork at The Eden Project was an invaluable opportunity for our students to engage directly with environmental processes and conservation efforts.

“By participating in these activities, our students gained deeper insights into global environmental challenges and the importance of sustainable practices.”
