Key Dates and Student Finance

Dear parents/carers,
We are delighted to have welcomed your sons/daughters back yesterday after what they have informed us has mainly been an enjoyable but productive break.  We would like to send our best wishes to all our families that are participating in Ramadam.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all the support that you continue to offer our students and to ensure that you are aware of some key dates to come.
Please note the following dates for your diary:
Wednesday 21st April at 6pm: Year 13 University Applications 2021-22Student Finance Presentation and Q&A.
We will be covering:

  • Financial support
  • Eligibility
  • Private universities
  • Repayments
  • Budgeting
Whilst primarily for the Y13 who have applied, Y12 and families are more than welcome to join us. You can access the meeting by clicking on this link:

Student Finance presentation and Q&A – 6pm Wednesday the 21st April

Monday 3rd May: Bank Holiday
W/C 3rd May: Assessment Window Two. Students will have received information from their teachers about their assessments, which will be happening during lesson times. Student with access arrangements will be supported. These assessments help to form the body of evidence that will be used for Teacher Assessed Grades sent to the exam boards this summer.
Thursday 27th May: Last day of teaching for Term 5
Thursday 27th May: Leaver’s Event (proposed date if Covid protocols allow, further information to follow)
Friday 28th May: INSET Day for staff training
31st May-4th May: June Holiday

We’re also delighted to state that we still have spaces available for students wishing to start with us in September in our beautiful new temporary building.
