Bursary 2025 – 2026
Dear Students/Parents & Carers,
My name is Sarah, and I administer the Bursary application and funding for CLF Post 16.
Bursary is an application to help support, or cover, your school meals, bus travel, books, educational trips, exam fees and expenses related to education.
CLF Post 16 recommend that all students complete an online application.
Applying for Bursary will also help CLF Post 16 establish whether you are eligible for Free School Meals, if you are not already receiving them.
All 16-19 Bursary applications must be completed by the student, and payments are made directly to their bank account .
Bursary applications and claims are made by an online system and the level of bursary that can be claimed will depend on your household income.
You will need an active email address to set up a login to the system.
To be able to potentially access bursary money, you will need to first create an Applica Bursary account, by using the following link;
*If you already have an Applicaa Bursary account, you will need to access your account and follow the steps for renewal.

All fields marked with a red asterisk * need to be completed, as they are mandatory.
You will need to complete the following sections;
- Welcome – students will have already completed this section just by registering,
- Agreement – students must read and agree to the CLF Post-16 Bursary Policy 2025-2026 by ticking ‘I have read and agree to the above policy’,
- Pupil Information,
- Household Information (who students live with) and
- Income (household income).
Note Anywhere you see a little ‘i’ in the system, you can hover over for more information.
We would encourage you to complete the Bursary application, as CLF Post 16 Bursary can help everyone, to varying degree’s, regardless of Household income.
