Mental Health & Counselling
At CLF Post 16, we place a strong emphasis on promoting positive mental health and wellbeing for all our students.
We are proud to have our own dedicated counsellor who works with students on a weekly basis, providing confidential, professional support when it is needed. In addition, we follow a clear and supportive wellbeing process based on a graduated response. This begins with early conversations between students and their Tutors or Heads of House, ensuring that concerns are identified and addressed promptly. Where appropriate, support is then escalated to more specialist provision to meet individual needs.
We take the wellbeing of our students very seriously and are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Policy clearly outlines our approach, the support available, and our commitment to early intervention and appropriate specialist support where required.
Our aim is to ensure that every student at CLF Post 16 feels heard, supported, and able to thrive both academically and personally.
