Eid al-Fitr

Dear Parents/Carers 

Time off for Eid al-Fitr 

Ramadan Mubarak to all our Muslim families.  

We know that our Muslim families are looking forward to an Eid celebration, which is likely to start between Thursday 19th and Friday 20th March 2026. 

If you are celebrating, we will authorise one day’s leave on that day. If your child will be absent, please let us know as soon as you possibly can, by emailing attendance@clfpost16.org or calling 0117 9882525 

If your child is absent for Eid and you have not let us know, their absence will be recorded as unauthorised, and we will follow our usual unexplained absence process. 

We know what a busy time the last few days of Ramadan can be, so we really appreciate your support with keeping us informed.
