Vocational (BTEC/Cambridge Technical) Exams Re-sits option

Dear Students/Parents/Carers

This letter gives instructions to Year 13 students and parents/carers to arrange an entry to re-sit Vocational externally examined units in, January 2026.

We will only enter students to take the exam when they have paid for the entry and completed fully the

re-sit request form.

The entry and payment can be made at any time up until Friday 10^th October

Actions required are:

You must complete point 1 and 2 for the entry to be made.

1. Payment of the re-sit. The costs are: BTEC Qualification £45.10 Per unit, Cambridge Technical Qualification £47.00 Per unit
2. Use the attached Form to ask the Exam team to arrange for the entry to be made.
3. Students who have completed a bursary application can claim for funding towards this entry.

PAYMENT

Payment for the entry can either be made by.

• Card machine, which is held in the TG16 Exams Office.
• Cash – this must be brought to the TG16 Exams Office, unfortunately the exams office does not hold any change.

COMPLETE THE FORM TO REQUEST EXAM ENTRIES ARE MADE

Please bring the completed signed entry form and the fee to TG16 Exam office before Friday 10^th October.

BURSARY

Students need to apply for bursary on the online system – https://clfpost16bursary.applicaa.com/1

Once bursary has been approved, students can make a claim for support with these fees. The level of support will depend on the amount of bursary that has been agreed which varies by student.
