CLF Post 16 staff and students celebrate Eid
Staff and students across The Cabot Learning Federation’s (CLF) Post 16 provision came together to mark Eid with a vibrant and inclusive celebration.
Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, is a significant moment in the Islamic calendar. Following a month of fasting from dawn to sunset, as well as spiritual reflection, it is a time for joy, prayer, and togetherness. Across the world, Muslim communities celebrate by sharing meals, spending time with loved ones, and exchanging gifts.
The CLF Post 16 celebration reflected these traditions, bringing people together in a spirit of unity and cultural appreciation. A veritable feast of delicious dishes was on offer, with staff and students enjoying a wide range of homemade and traditional foods.
The event provided an opportunity not only to celebrate but also to learn more about the meaning of Eid and the importance of community.
A spokesperson for Post 16 said: “We were delighted to bring staff and students together to celebrate Eid.
“Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to recognise and embrace the diversity within our community. It was fantastic to see everyone sharing food, learning from one another, and enjoying such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.”
