CLF Post-16 students enjoy action-packed trip
Cabot Learning Federation (CLF) Post-16 students have recently enjoyed an exciting Big Trip, celebrating their excellent attendance with an action-packed adventure at Alton Towers and an outdoor team-building experience in Staffordshire.
Students who achieved the best attendance last term were rewarded with the opportunity to spend a day experiencing the exhilarating rides at Alton Towers, the UK’s largest theme park, before enjoying an overnight stay at Ilam Park, Staffordshire.
The adventure continued the following day with an orienteering challenge, where students used specialised topographic maps and compasses to navigate their way from a starting point through a series of designated checkpoints to the finish line in the fastest possible time.
The students had enormous fun throughout the challenge, demonstrating teamwork, skill, determination and agility as they navigated the terrain and worked together to reach their goals.
A spokesperson for CLF Post-16 said: “The Big Trip was a fantastic opportunity to recognise and reward students for their excellent attendance while giving them the chance to enjoy new experiences outside the classroom.
“From the thrills of Alton Towers to the challenges of orienteering, students embraced every activity with enthusiasm, demonstrating brilliant teamwork, resilience and determination.
“It was wonderful to see them making lasting memories, supporting one another and developing valuable skills along the way.”
